Pre-Account Setup Guide

Everything you need to set up before your PadelOS club goes live — Stripe, iOS, and Android.

Written by Haris K

Before your club is fully operational on PadelOS, there are three external accounts you need to set up. This guide walks you through each one step by step. These are one-time tasks that only need to be completed once during onboarding.

1. Set Up Your Stripe Account (Payments)

Stripe is the payment processor used by PadelOS to handle all bookings, memberships, and other transactions at your club. You need your own Stripe account so that payments go directly to your business.

Steps:

  1. Select your country — the page will redirect you to the Stripe account creation page.

  2. Fill in your business details: legal name, business address, and phone number.

  3. Add and verify your bank account.

  4. Complete identity and document verification.

Verifying your Stripe account: Once your account is created, make sure it is fully verified. Log in to your Stripe dashboard and go to Settings → Business → Account Status. There should be no pending tasks listed under the Active tab. If there are outstanding items, complete them before going live — unverified accounts may have payouts on hold.

2. Set Up Your Apple Developer Account (iOS App)

To publish your branded club app on the Apple App Store, Apple requires every business to have its own developer account. This ensures your app appears under your club's name rather than a generic one.

Step A: Apply for a D-U-N-S Number

Apple requires a D-U-N-S number to verify your business identity during enrollment. Use the links below to look yours up — if your business doesn't have one yet, you can apply through the same links.

Step B: Enroll in the Apple Developer Program

  1. Choose Company/Organization — do not select Individual.

  2. Sign in with your Apple ID, or create one if you don't have one.

  3. Enter your D-U-N-S number and business information.

  4. Pay the annual fee of $99.

Step C: Add PadelOS as Admin

Once enrolled, you need to give the PadelOS team admin access so we can configure and submit your app.

  1. Click Users and Access

  2. Click the + icon to invite a new user

  3. Enter the following details:

    • Role: Admin

    • Check all relevant access options (App Store, Certificates, etc.)

  4. Click Invite

Step D: Complete EU Compliance (Trader Status)

If your club operates in the European Union, Apple requires you to declare your business status before your app can be published in EU markets.

  1. Go to App Store Connect → Business → Agreements

  2. Click Complete Compliance Requirements

  3. Select Trader

  4. Enter your business contact details: address, email, and phone number

Why Trader? If your club charges players for bookings, memberships, or any other services, it is classified as a Trader under EU law — even if payments are processed through Stripe rather than through Apple directly. This declaration is required to make your app available in EU countries.

3. Set Up Your Google Play Console Account (Android App)

To publish your branded club app on Android, you need your own Google Play Console account. This ensures the app is published under your business name and remains fully under your control.

Steps:

  1. Sign in with a Google account, or create one.

  2. Register as an organization.

  3. Pay the one-time registration fee of $25.

  4. Fill in your business profile and agree to the terms.

Add PadelOS as Admin:

Once your account is created, invite the PadelOS team so we can configure and manage your Android app.

  1. Click the Settings icon (bottom-left)

  2. Select Users and Permissions

  3. Click Invite New User

  4. Enter the following:

  5. Send the invitation
