Vouchers let your club sell a fixed monetary value — for example, €50, €100, or €200 — that someone can buy and redeem later at your club. Unlike discounts, vouchers are generally aimed at people who aren't yet your customers: a friend or family member buying a voucher as a gift for someone who plays at your club.
Tip: If you're trying to encourage your existing players to top up or pre-pay a certain amount, Wallet Offers are usually the better tool for that — we'll cover those in a separate article. Vouchers are best suited for gifting to new or occasional players.
How Vouchers Work
Step 1: Create the Voucher
Set the basic details:
Name / Title: What the voucher is called.
Description: A brief description shown to the buyer.
Amount: The monetary value of the voucher (e.g. €100).
Available Online: Whether the voucher can be purchased directly through your website.
Step 2: Decide What Happens to Leftover Balance
Vouchers don't have to be used in one go. If a player buys a €100 voucher and only spends €50 of it on a booking, what happens to the remaining €50 depends on one setting:
Enabled: The remaining balance is automatically transferred to the player's wallet, so they can use it later on anything else.
Disabled: The remaining balance is forfeited once the voucher transaction is complete.
This is a toggle you control per voucher — decide which behaviour fits your club before publishing it.
Generating Voucher Codes
Once the voucher itself is set up (name, amount, balance behaviour), you generate the actual codes that get redeemed. You have two options:
Option A: Create a Single Code Manually
You choose your own unique code or name (e.g. SARAH100). The system checks that it doesn't clash with an existing code.
Option B: Generate Codes in Bulk
Instead of creating codes one at a time, you can generate a batch — 50, 100, 1,000 codes at once, each one unique.
Why bulk generation is useful: Some clubs take a batch of unique codes and send them to a printing press to be printed onto small physical cards. These cards are placed at reception, and a walk-in customer can simply say "I'd like to buy that €100 voucher card," and staff sell it on the spot. Because each card has its own unique code, you can still track exactly which one was sold, whether it's been redeemed, and how much balance remains on it.
Tracking & Management
Just like discount codes, each voucher code can be tracked individually — you can see whether it's been used, how much of its value remains, and disable a specific code if needed, without affecting any other codes.
