PadelOS includes a fully configurable loyalty program with three reward tiers — Silver, Gold, and Platinum — designed to reward your most active players and drive long-term retention. Player tiers are calculated automatically based on spending, with no manual intervention needed.
Program Configuration
Before tiers can start working, you configure the rules that govern how spending is measured:
Spending Thresholds: Define how much a player needs to spend to qualify for each tier. Thresholds can be set per activity type (e.g. court bookings, lessons, pro shop) or as a combined total across all spending.
Qualifying Cycle Length: Set how often spending is measured — monthly, quarterly, annually, or any custom number of months, depending on what suits your club.
Retention Targets: Set a separate spend level players must maintain to keep their tier at the end of each cycle. This can differ from the threshold required to reach the tier in the first place.
Activating the Program for the First Time
When you activate the loyalty program, it doesn't start counting from zero. It immediately looks back across the qualifying cycle window and counts any spend the player already made within that window — even if that spend happened before the program was turned on.
Example: Your club sets a 6-month qualifying cycle and activates the loyalty program today. A player who has already spent €1,200 at your club over the last 6 months will have that €1,200 counted immediately, and will be placed into the tier that matches — for example, Silver if the Silver threshold is €1,000. They don't need to spend €1,000 again from today onward to qualify.
Tier Management
Automatic Promotion & Demotion: Players move up or down tiers automatically based on their spending within the active qualifying cycle — there's no need to manually assign or review player tiers.
Per-Tier Perks: Each tier — Silver, Gold, Platinum — has its own independent set of perks.
Custom Branding: Tier names and card designs are fully customisable, so you can brand the program to match your club's identity or loyalty theme.
Note: Silver, Gold, and Platinum are the recommended default tier names. If you'd like to rename the tiers or change the card colors/design for your players, please contact support — our team can update these on your behalf.
How Progression Between Tiers Works
Spend accumulates continuously within the qualifying cycle — it does not reset to zero each time a player reaches a new tier. Once a threshold is crossed, the player is promoted immediately, and the spend they've already made keeps counting toward the next tier's threshold.
Example setup:
Tier | Threshold (cumulative spend) | Qualifying Cycle |
Silver | €1,000 | 6 months |
Gold | €2,000 | 6 months |
Platinum | €5,000 | 6 months |
Worked example — Bert:
Bert spends €1,000 over his first 6 months on PadelOS. As soon as his cumulative spend crosses €1,000, he is promoted to Silver.
His €1,000 doesn't disappear or reset — it carries forward toward the €2,000 Gold threshold. Over the following weeks and months, he continues spending. As soon as his cumulative total reaches €2,000, he is promoted to Gold — he only needed to spend another €1,000 to get there, not €2,000 from scratch.
The same logic applies to Platinum: once his cumulative spend reaches €5,000, he's promoted again, regardless of how that €5,000 was split across his time in Silver and Gold.
In short: think of the thresholds as ladder rungs on a single running total, not as separate targets that reset each time a player moves up.
Configuring Perks per Tier
For each tier, you can assign and stack any combination of the following perks:
Court Booking Discounts — a percentage off court bookings.
Discounts on Activities & Lessons — covering Events, Trainings, Tournaments, and Lessons.
Complimentary Court Hours — free court time included with the tier.
Extended Advance Booking Windows — allowing players to book further ahead than standard policy allows.
Priority Cancellation Timeframes — more flexible cancellation windows for higher tiers.
Perks can be combined within a tier — for example, Gold might include a court booking discount, complimentary hours, and an extended booking window all at once.
What Players See
On the player side, everything updates automatically and transparently:
Real-Time Progress Tracking: Players can see their current tier, how much they've spent so far in the cycle, and exactly how much more they need to spend to reach the next tier or retain their current one.
Clear Perk Breakdown: Players can see every benefit available at their tier, along with usage and remaining balance for each perk (e.g. how many complimentary hours they've used).
Automatic Updates: Players don't need to do anything — their tier status adjusts automatically at the end of each qualifying cycle based on their spending.
