Segments is an AI-powered marketing tool that lets you build dynamic player lists using plain English. Instead of manually filtering through customer data, you simply describe the group of players you want and PadelOS generates the list automatically — and keeps it up to date every time you open it.
Note: Segments is currently in Alpha. You may experience minor issues as we continue to refine the feature.
How to Create a Segment
Step 1: Select Associated Clubs
Choose which clubs the segment should pull data from. You can select one or multiple clubs, which is useful for operators running across several locations.
Step 2: Define Your Segment
In the Segment Definition box, write a plain English description of the players you want to target. Be as specific as you like. Examples:
Players who have played at least once in the last 6 months, are female, and are between the ages of 25 and 40
All players who have spent more than €500 in the last 6 months
Players who frequently cancel or no-show
Members who have never booked an open match
You can also use the Suggested Segments as a starting point — click any suggestion to populate the field automatically.
Step 3: Generate
Click Generate and PadelOS will process your description and build the matching player list from your club data.
Step 4: Save the Segment
Once you're happy with the result, click Save Segment. The segment is saved and available any time from the Segments section under Marketing.
How Segments Stay Up to Date
Saved segments are dynamic — you don't need to manually refresh or rebuild them. Every time you open a saved segment, PadelOS automatically re-runs it against the latest club data, so the player list always reflects the current state. New players who match the criteria will be included, and players who no longer match will be removed automatically.
Tips for Writing Good Segments
Be specific about time ranges (e.g. "last 30 days", "last 6 months")
Combine multiple conditions naturally (e.g. "female players over 30 who have a membership but haven't booked in 60 days")
Use spend, activity, demographics, membership status, or booking behaviour as filters
If the result doesn't look right, refine your description and regenerate
