Court availability isn't controlled by a single setting — it's the result of three separate configurations working in sync. If any one of them is out of alignment with the others, players will see gaps or red lines on the schedule instead of bookable slots. This guide walks through all three, in the order you should set them up, and explains what happens when they don't match.
Step 1: Set Club Hours
This is the outermost layer — the overall operating hours of your club, day by day (Monday through Sunday).
Where to configure it: Settings → Clubs → [select club]
Club hours act as the maximum possible window your courts can ever be open. Nothing can be booked outside these hours, regardless of what you set at the court or pricing level.
Step 2: Set Court Hours
Once club hours are set, each individual court needs its own operating hours configured.
Where to configure it: Settings → Courts → [select club] → [select court]
Court hours can either match the club's overall hours, or be narrower for a specific court — for example, if one court is reserved for coaching only in the mornings, you might set its available hours to start later than the rest of the club.
Important: Court hours must fall within the club's hours. A court cannot be open before or after the club itself is open.
Step 3: Set Pricing
Finally, you need to configure pricing for each court under Settings → Pricing. This defines the price for each bookable hour.
Important: Pricing must be set for every hour you want that court to actually be bookable. If a court is open from 7 AM but pricing has only been configured starting from 8 AM, the court will not show as available before 8 AM — even though the club and court hours technically allow it.
How These Three Layers Interact
Think of it as three nested layers, each one needing to align with the ones around it:
Club Hours → Court Hours → Pricing (outer) (inner)
For a time slot to be bookable by a player, all three must agree that the slot is available. If any one of them doesn't cover that hour, the slot won't appear — and you'll typically see this show up as a red line or gap on the club schedule.
Example Combinations and What Happens
Club Hours | Court Hours | Pricing Set | Result |
7 AM–10 PM | 7 AM–10 PM | 7 AM–10 PM | Fully available — everything matches |
7 AM–10 PM | 8 AM–10 PM | 7 AM–10 PM | Court not visible 7–8 AM, even though club is open and pricing exists — court hours are the limiting factor |
7 AM–10 PM | 7 AM–10 PM | 8 AM–10 PM | Court not bookable 7–8 AM — pricing is missing for that window, even though club and court hours allow it |
8 AM–10 PM | 7 AM–10 PM | 7 AM–10 PM | Court not bookable 7–8 AM — club itself isn't open yet, which overrides everything else |
The rule of thumb: the narrowest of the three settings always wins. Whichever layer has the smallest window determines what's actually bookable.
Holidays
There's a fourth factor that can override all of the above: Holidays.
Where to configure it: Settings → Holidays
Here you can mark specific dates when the entire club is closed. On those days, courts will show as unavailable regardless of what club hours, court hours, or pricing say — holidays take priority over the standard schedule.
Quick Troubleshooting Checklist
If a court isn't showing as available when you expect it to be, check in this order:
Club Hours — is the club even open during that window?
Court Hours — is this specific court configured to be open then?
Pricing — has a price been set for that specific hour?
Holidays — is this date marked as a club holiday?
Whichever of these is the narrowest or misconfigured is almost always the cause.
