Labels vs. Categories

Understand the difference between internal labels and player-facing categories.

Written by Haris K

Labels and Categories look similar when you're filling in a form, but they serve completely different purposes. The simplest way to remember it: labels are internal, categories are player-facing.

Labels — Internal Use

Labels are your club's own tagging system. You can create labels and assign them to bookings, trainings, court bookings, events, and other activities to track why something was created and group it for your own reporting.

Players never see labels. They exist purely to help your team organise, filter, and make sense of activity across the club.

Categories — Player-Facing

Categories are shown to players and help them find what they're looking for. Currently available on trainings, a category might be something like "Beginner Training" or "Intermediate Training."

When you create a training, you assign it a category. On the player side, players can then filter by that category to browse only the sessions relevant to their level or interest.
