Overview
The Events section of your club’s policy settings controls how cancellations and refunds are handled for event registrations. These settings apply globally across all events at your club. You can find them under Club Settings > Policies > Events.
Events Cancellation
These settings determine whether registered participants are allowed to cancel their event registration and how far in advance they must do so.
Events cancellation allowed: Controls whether registered participants can cancel their registration from an event. When set to Yes, players are able to cancel themselves from the event. When set to No, cancellations must be handled manually by an admin.
Event cancellation time: Sets the minimum number of hours before an event that a player is allowed to cancel their registration. For example, a value of 24 Hr means players must cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts. Cancellation attempts made within that window will not be permitted.
Tip Setting a cancellation window helps protect court and session planning. If you run events with limited spots, a 24–48 hour window gives you time to fill vacated places before the event takes place. |
Event Refund Rule
The Event refund rule determines how payments are returned to players when a cancellation is processed within the allowed window.
Wallet: The full cash amount paid by the player is refunded to their PadelOS wallet, minus any applicable platform fee. The refunded amount is stored as wallet credit which the player can use toward future bookings or registrations.
Platform fee The platform fee is deducted from the refunded amount before it is credited to the player’s wallet. The exact fee is defined in your club’s platform settings. |
