What is Reserve Courts?
Reserve Courts lets you set aside court time for a trainer's private lessons. When a slot is reserved for a trainer, that court and time become available only for that trainer's private lessons. They can't be used for court bookings, open matches, or anything else.
This is useful when you want to guarantee a trainer has court space for their lessons during peak or regular hours, instead of competing with general bookings.
You'll find this feature under Trainings > Reserve Courts.
How a reservation record is organised
Each record groups one or more court reservations under shared settings. A single record can cover several dates, courts, and trainers, and its name shows the courts it includes (e.g. Padel 2, Padel 3, Padel 4).
Record settings
Each record has the following settings:
Associated Club — the club the reservations belong to
Sport — the sport the courts are reserved for (e.g. Padel)
Labels — optional tags to help you organise records
Reservation Auto Cancellation — how many hours before a reservation starts it will be released if it hasn't been booked. N/A means auto-cancellation is off and the reservation stays blocked.
Internal Notes — notes for your team only; not visible to players
Reservations
The record lists every reservation it contains, grouped by date under Total Reservations. Each row shows:
Column | What it shows |
Time | Start and end time of the reservation |
Court | The specific court being reserved |
Trainer | The trainer the slot is reserved for |
Status | The reservation's current status, e.g. Active |
Reservations within a record can be added, updated or deleted.
Example
You reserve Padel 2 on Monday from 9:00 to 12:00 for Trainer Alex, with Reservation Auto Cancellation set to 12 hours.
Scenario 1 — What players see
On the player side, the 9:00–12:00 slot on Padel 2 only appears when a player books a private lesson with Trainer Alex. Players booking a court, joining an open match, or booking a lesson with another trainer will not see that time as available on Padel 2.
Scenario 2 — A player books the slot
A player books a private lesson with Trainer Alex during the reserved time. The lesson is confirmed as normal, using the reserved court.
Scenario 3 — Nobody books the slot
If the reservation hasn't been booked by Sunday at 21:00 (12 hours before the Monday 9:00 start), it is cancelled automatically. The court time is released back to general availability and can be used for court bookings, open matches, or other activities.
If auto-cancellation were set to N/A, the slot would stay reserved for Trainer Alex whether or not it is booked.
Tips
Set the auto-cancellation window long enough that released courts can still realistically be booked by other players.
Use recurring reservations for trainers with fixed weekly coaching blocks to avoid recreating them each week.
Use Labels and Internal Notes to keep track of why a block was reserved, especially when a record covers several trainers.
