Link Generator: Building Links to Any Page of Your Club

Create ready-to-use links that open a specific page of your club, with filters already applied.

Written by Arslan Bhatti

What the Link Generator is for

The Link Generator lets you build a link to any page (module) of your club's player app, such as Bookings, Matches, Events or Trainings, with filters set in advance. Instead of sending players to your home page and asking them to find the right thing, the link takes them straight to it.

Common places to use these links:

  • Buttons on your club website

  • Social media bios and posts

  • WhatsApp groups and direct messages

  • Emails and campaigns

  • QR codes on posters and flyers at the club

You don't need to write or edit links by hand. You choose the settings, and the link is built for you, so it always works.

Where to find it

Open the Link Generator in your browser at:

https://player.padelos.co/company/[your company ID]/share-links

Replace [your company ID] with your club's company ID. You can find it in your player app address: it's the number after /company/. For example, if your player app is at https://player.padelos.co/company/217, your Link Generator is at https://player.padelos.co/company/217/share-links.

The page has two tabs:

  • Build a link — create a new link

  • What each setting does — a reference list of every setting, which modules use it, and its possible values

Build a link

  1. In Which module, choose the page you want the link to open (for example Bookings or Trainings). A short description of the module appears below the dropdown.

  2. Set any options under Works on every link.

  3. Set any options under Only on this page. These fields change depending on the module you picked.

  4. Check the link shown at the bottom of the card. It updates as you change settings.

  5. Click Copy and paste the link wherever you need it.

Every field starts as Leave out. A setting left out adds nothing to the link, so the page opens with its normal defaults. Only set what you actually want to control.

Settings that work on every link

These settings are available whatever module you choose.

Setting

What it does

Locations

Which of your locations to show. Choose several to show more than one. Leave out to show every location.

Language

Which language the page opens in. Leave out and the visitor gets their own language, or the location default.

Open sign-up

Pre-filled email

Fills in the visitor's email on the sign-up form. Only works together with Open sign-up.

Ask for a location

Opens the location picker as soon as the page loads. Useful for a link without a location set, when the visitor should choose one first.

Examples

The examples below use a club with two locations, City Centre and Riverside.

Scenario 1 — Court booking link for your website

You want a "Book a court" button on the Riverside page of your website that shows indoor padel courts.

  • Which module: Bookings

  • Locations: Riverside

  • Sport: Padel

  • Court type: Indoor

Players land directly on Riverside's indoor padel availability, without choosing a location or filtering themselves.

Scenario 2 — Evening trainings for a WhatsApp group

You want to share Riverside's evening trainings that still have places left.

  • Which module: Trainings

  • Locations: Riverside

  • From: 18:00

  • Availability: Places left

Players only see evening trainings they can still join.

Scenario 3 — Sign-up link for a promotion

You're running a flyer campaign for new players and want them to create an account straight away.

  • Which module: Home

  • Open sign-up: Sign-up form

  • Ask for a location: Yes

The sign-up form opens as soon as the page loads, and the visitor is asked to choose their location. If you're sending the link to one known person, you can also add their address in Pre-filled email.

Check a link

Below the builder, Check a link lets you test a link you already have, for example one copied from an old post or written by hand.

Paste the link into Paste a link to see which page it opens, what settings it applies, and whether anything is wrong with it. Use this before reusing older links in new materials.

Tips

  • Keep links simple. Every filter you add narrows what players see, so only set what's needed.

  • Avoid using Date on links meant to stay up for a long time, such as website buttons or printed QR codes, since the date will pass.

  • Use Category and Trainer for links to a specific program or coach.

For sending links to players through messages and campaigns, see the Communication Hub and Campaigns articles. For setting up the trainings these links point to, see the Fixed Trainings article.
